A Quick Peek into Spring/Summer 2012

With such a dismal and snow filled day in Chicago one could only hope for rich colors and eclectic fashions. I've been receiving a lot of my February spring issue mags and let me just say that the ads are stunning! I'm sure this post will come as a refresher to some  so, here are some glances at several of 2012's most anticipated Spring/Summer menswear ad campaigns.

1. Jil Sander Menswear- Shot by Willy Vanderperre the first campaign shot is daunting, grungy and chic. I couldn't have asked for a more fitting culmination for Jil Sander and with Raf Simmons pioneering Jil Sander's menswear division into a more modern era I'm feigning to see his newest collection in the upcoming Euro fashion week.

2. Bottega Veneta Menswear- Shot by Jack Pierson the colors of this rich add ignite the moment you lay eyes upon them.  The colored jeans and 70's inspired floral garden does everything for me. I'm dying to see how the rest of the campaign looks! And words could not describe how obsessed  I am with the sweater featured here.

3.YSL Menswear- Shot by photographer David Sims the french power house delivers nothing more than a classic minimalistic, head on campaign and I love it!

4. Dior Homme- There's something oddly "puritan" like from what I've seen of this campaign. Semi nostalgic yet religious the  pre-collection look book definitely reinstates why Dior Homme has a reigning spot among menswear's strongest pioneers.
