Sean O'Pry, Sweet Nothings and GivenchyThursday, August 30, 2012Aaron Reese
I find inspiration in peculiar places, and I'm sure I don't stand alone. So after having a rough day I came home to not only find a new Florence Welch and Calvin Harris collab, but also a Givenchy shoot for Dansk magazine with my one and only glorious male model obsession, Sean O'Pry.
Menswear excites me! Surprise, no? But what excites me more than menswear is progressive, modern, abstract, runway levels of menswear. It makes the wheels in my head spin, and shows that the menswear industry is progressing faster than I thought. Riccardo Tisci, Givenchy's creative director has been striking gold every since his acclaimed Rottweiler collection. Check out the shoot below shot by Michael Swartz, and styled/directed by Uffe Buchard.

To sweeten my findings, the much anticipated Florence Welch and Calvin Harris collab dropped on Flo's birthday (8-28, She's no leo. sad face). Entitled 'Sweet Nothing', the dynamic duo's latest is sure to leave you dancing with Calvin's flawless, rave like production and Flo's haunting vocals. I'll post the single below, so you too can dance your soul away.
They say that it's the little things in life that matters. I'd have to agree. I have a new tune on repeat and series of kick ass desktop wallpapers. If that doesn't make you happy, than you're at a lost. It's the simple pleasures in life that keep us afloat. With that being said, hit play on the vid below and let loose.
