Nerd Protein: Channeling Your Inner Wild Thing

Wednesday, March 12, 2014Aaron Reese

Werewolves, wolf packs and anything wolf related, I love (with the exception of Twilight, obviously.) So when the good guys at Old Spice sent over some of their newest hair products, I instantly went for the Wolfthorn 2-in-1 shampoo & conditioner. To celebrate the spirit of the wild and the arrival of the wolf, I've created a list of must haves for channeling your inner wild thing. Now remember biting is bad, unless they ask for it.

1.Wolfthorn 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner-  Though I was under the impression that this would give me wolf like abilities (womp womp), the 2-in-1 works quite well. Like most gents with a tumultuous schedule, I appreciate an awesome product that cuts the grooming process in half. And whether it's the attention of man or she-wolf you seek, this should be a no-brainer addition to your pre-mating ritual. Whatever that entails for you.

2.Vacant Embroidered Wolf Tee- Celebrate being a creature of the night in this number compliments of Vacant. For proper wild thing sightings be sure to wear this one on a full moon.

3.Mirror: A Calendar for Social Good- The lads from MTV's hit show Teen Wolf, have gotten together to produce a man-candy black & white calendar.  Shot by Doug English to showcase some of Hollywood's newest talent, the calendar takes nature appreciation to another level.  Colton Haynes, Tyler Posey, Tyler Hoechlin and Max & Charlie Carver are just a few of the gents that make an appearance. If the wolf-pack calendar isn't your speed, you can still show some Teen Wolf love and buy Season 3 Part 1 on DVD.

4.Stark Beanie-   After the events of season 3 of Game of Thrones, there's plenty of us ready to avenge House Stark. So if you're a little rusty with a longsword, opt for this Stark Brewing Company beanie instead. You may not be the King of the North, but you'll be aptly prepared for winter's arrival.

Disclosure:Old Spice provided me with the Wolfthorn 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner for review. The opinions expressed herein are solely my own.
